Nashville! Next Weekend! That’s when the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention happens. And within that convention? What happens there? Intricate costumery. Delights untold. And a nice long set from your own MC Frontalot. That’s on Saturday afternoon. With a panel on Sunday morning. And Front’ll be on the floor with this various warez. Grab a badge while they’re hotttt.

Front’s about to head to SXSW for that aforementioned showcase! Here’s a nifty flyer for it, if you care to share one with an Austiny friend. Free with festival wristband, or tickets at the door!

South By Southwest is abrewin’! The twelfth Official Nerdcore Showcase will be there. Or thirteenth? Counting is hard. Maybe we’ll jump straight to 14th, like a superstitious person labeling elevator buttons.

Did you know that two things turn 25 this year?

One of them is the subgenre of hip-hop that Front named way back in early 2000. Half a lifetime ago (If you’re around 50, which some of us are).

Also 25 years old: Wheatus’s “Teenage Dirtbag,” a mammoth rock & roll hit which Front has ruined countless times onstage with an unnecessary rap breakdown.

Front opens the San Francisco stop on the Wheatus 25th Anniversary Tour on April 5th at Bottom Of The Hill. And you can bet he’ll be up there at the end of the night too, ruining that perfectly good rock & roll song one more time. Come see it happen!
